Ystads military museum is housed in one of the stables of what was once the military pride of Ystad: the largest infantry regiment in the Nordic countries! Forever associated with “the boys in blue”, Ystads dragoons…
The Museum contains large exhibition halls with objects and images from 220 years of military presence in Ystad. Every year temporary exhibitions are arranged.
The summer exhibition is based on the theme: “the scandals of Ystad”. The main scandal revolves around the intrigues surrounding the staff chief Gustaf Björnstierna and his wife.
But many more tantalizing headlines are promised!
